My focus is the politics and economies of oil- and gas-producing regions and nations, from Angola to Uzbekistan. I also write on related manufacturing sectors, such as the automotive and petrochemicals industries. 

A trained journalist with a BA (hons) in Political Science and a MSc in Development Economics from the University of London, I have over 15 years of professional experience including writing for high-profile clients, including the Energy Industries Council and the Japan External Trade Organisation.
